Indian Cookery The next step

This is a 5 weeks course, some knowledge of Indian cooking would be useful. At the end of the course, you Will learn how to make starters , main Indian dishes and rice and bread together with understanding the use of spices and why.. You will also be able to cook  traditional Indian meals at home for your family and friends.

AIMS: To provide learners with hands on experience of learning to cook Indian food using fresh produce, herbs and spices.  Also to be able to recognize shortcuts, techniques and tips demonstrated by the Tutor and learnt during the practical sessions.

OBJECTIVES: The objective is for the learners to be able to know various spices, to be able to list the main spices used in making the sauce for different curry dishes and be able to prepare a full Indian meal from starter to main meal to bread and rice using simple to use techniques and fresh ingredients in the 5 weeks period
